En este día todo el mundo lleva un paño amarillo. Representa la maduración de los cultivos de primavera. Incluso la comida es de color amarillo mediante el uso de azafrán. Espiritualmente, el color amarillo es un signo de prosperidad; es el color del amor. En este día ofrecemos una adoración especial al dios sol, a la Madre Ganga (la deidad del sagrado río Ganges), y a la Madre Tierra. Nos proporcionan los medios para adquirir alimentos y todo lo que necesitamos para mantenernos vivos. Les expresamos nuestra gratitud al adorarlos. Budista-Hinduista : Jhulan Purnima: All devotees wait patiently in a queue to swing Their Lordships. The swing (jhulana) beautified with splendid flower decorations, colorful beads, etc. A special flower rope is used to pull the swing. An arotik is performed after Sri Sri Radha Madhava are seated on the swing, and devotees bring a variety of bhoga to please Their Lordships. Kirtana and bhajans go on for almost two hours, and many visitors join in to pull Their Lordship's swing.
